The course objective is to develop comprehensive understanding of the E-Commerce basics, and to teach necessary practical skills. The course is directed at students studying economic subjects, and entrepreneurial individuals considering whether to start an e-business. Some course topics will be of great interest to professionals experienced in the field of e-commerce. The course requires participants to know how to work with web-resources, and to understand introductory economics. Business-related experience is a strong advantage. This course gives a general overview of the most famous business initiatives on the Internet, e-trade and e-commerce, B2C and B2B models, and the future of Internet entrepreneurship. The course includes practical advice on how to start a business on the Internet and make it effective.
